Experience

A Unique Perspective—30 Years in the Making

Rose brings 30 years of industry experience to each client engagement. Having sat on both sides of the table—manager selection and manager promotion—she has a unique perspective on what it takes to stand out from the crowd. At PHG, Rose applies this insight to develop messages and materials that define value propositions, emphasize competitive advantages, and highlight client benefits. She then works with speakers to present those messages with clarity and confidence.

Prior to co-founding PHG in 2008, Rose was Director of Marketing for Old Mutual Asset Management, the U.S. asset management group of Old Mutual plc, a Global Fortune 500, FTSE 100-listed financial services company. At Old Mutual, she was responsible for promoting the brand through corporate brand identity, public relations, and corporate events, as well as working with Old Mutual’s 20 affiliate firms to achieve their individual marketing, sales, and client service goals.

Rose has served in a number of additional marketing capacities within the industry. These include Senior Vice President/Manager of Defined Contribution Marketing at Putnam Investments, Vice President/Director of Institutional Marketing for Deutsche Asset Management, and Director of Investment Communications at Cadence Capital Management.

Rose began her career as a Portfolio Analyst at investment consulting firm Jeffrey Slocum & Associates. At Slocum, she conducted manager research, prepared materials for finalist presentations, reported on managers’ quarterly performance, and led 401(k)-participant training programs for the firm’s defined contribution clients.
